We pride ourselves on delivering the best holiday camps available. We provide quality, fun, active, affordable and safe childcare.

Girls Football Camp

Montgomery Sports Camp

  • 8am – 5pm
  • Age 5 to 14
  • Montgomery Academy, All Hallows Road, FY2 0AZ

We also have our Holiday Activity and Food Camps (HAF) for children who receive free school meals and our Stars Disability Camp for children living with a disability in the local area. This takes place from 11am to 3pm in the Education and Community Centre at Blackpool FC excluding bank holidays. To book, please email info@bfcct.co.uk. We look forward to seeing you there!

 

Community Programmes

Our Family Clubs will continue at the North Stand Community Hub from 3:30pm to 5:30pm with different activities taking place the week. On Tuesdays, we will be delivering physical activity sessions, and on Wednesdays, you can access our Homework Club and enjoy arts and crafts.

The Big Food Truck will also operate every Tuesday as usual, along with our new Community Club from 1:20pm to 3pm. Additionally, our Breakfast Club will run every Friday from 9:30am to 11am.

 

Move More is still looking for people living within the Bloomfield, Tyldesley, Victoria and Park wards who are interested in developing a community group to support their local community needs.

Our brand new FIT Blackpool classes are launching, all sessions are priced at £2.50.

Aspire 5’s continues, and we are looking for one new team to join our 18 to 34 league. For more information email movemore@bfcct.co.uk.

Get Vocal

The next episode of the Get Vocal Podcast will be released this month featuring Elliot’s Place, the episode will feature suicide prevention, the importance of talking to people around you and sharing insight on the work they do to support young men.

Get Vocal staff are attending the Solace Suicide Prevention conference on 2nd October.

 

Premier League Kicks

Our Premier League Kicks HAF will re-commence in the October half-term, the venues and dates are to be confirmed, keep an eye on our social media and website for booking links soon.

Our next Premier League Kicks Youth Voice session is taking place on 19th October ahead of the Blackpool vs Barnsley game. The group will continue to work on their social action initiative which focuses on making sports more accessible for young people in the town by removing barriers related to equipment and kit costs.

On 22nd October we are taking a cohort of Under 16s Premier League Kicks participants to compete in a tournament hosted by Morecambe, featuring other Northwest clubs.

On 28th October, another cohort of Under 16s Premier League Kicks participants will take part in a fixture against Wigan Athletic Community Trust at our South Shore venue. Following the game, participants will head to Bloomfield Road to watch the Blackpool FC vs Wigan Athletic fixture.

 

Armed Forces

Blackpool FC Community Trust are proud to announce an exciting new partnership with The Not Forgotten. Together, we are hosting their first-ever bucket collection fundraiser at a Blackpool FC’s home match on Tuesday the 1st of October.

Armed Forces support will continue as usual throughout October. The Veterans Breakfast Club will meet every first Tuesday of the month from 9:30am to 10:45am @TheGrange on Bathurst Avenue, with free entry. Forces Football will take place every Thursday from 6pm to 7:30pm at Aspire Sports Hub, also free of charge. The Gardening Club will meet on the first Tuesday of each month from April to November, from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Fylde Memorial Arboretum. The NAAFI Break, a social gathering, will occur every Wednesday from 10:30am to 12pm at The Corner Flag on Bloomfield Road, with a £2 charge per preordered breakfast sandwich. Veterans Walk & Talk will be held every Thursday from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at Blackpool Cricket Club, with free entry.

 

Disability Programmes

7th October is our SEND Glow festival for children living with disabilities.

 

Early Years and Primary

Fit2Glow Year 2 glow-in-the-dark football festival heats are taking place on the 7th, 8th and 9th of October at Stanley Park Sports Centre, Palatine Leisure Centre, and Moor Park Leisure Centre

The final will be held at the Tower Circus on Monday 14th October.

We also have a Show Racism the Red Card event on Tuesday 15th October at Bloomfield Road.

 

Education and Employability

High School Hubs

In September our high school hub mentors settled back into their respective high schools supporting pupils across various programmes. Up until the October half term Year 7 pupils will be supported on their transition to high school, in small focus groups, along with 1:1 mentoring on offer to all pupils from Year 7 to Year 11.

Blackpool FC Sports College

From the 14th  to the 18th of October our students will participate in an NCS residential  ‘away from home’ experience, participating in a range of teambuilding and outward-bound activities.

The 21st to 25th of October is College Progression Week. Our BTEC Level 3 Year 1 students will be delivering coaching sessions on our sports camps, gaining an insight into the role of a coach, and developing their knowledge and understanding in this area of work.

Female Football

FA Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre

The FA Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) will have weekly training sessions and focus on technical sessions throughout the month including dribbling, passing and receiving. The Under 14s group travels to Manchester to play Manchester City’s Under 13s academy team.

Our ETC coaches have also been invited to the Blackpool FC boys’ academy to observe sessions and learn alongside their counterparts.

Blackpool FC Girls Feeder group

We have brand-new sessions launching for girls aged Under 6 to Under 9 on Friday 4th October. These sessions run from 5pm to 6pm every week for girls who want to join Blackpool FC Girls and train with their coaches, as we hope to enter new teams into the Poulton and District Primary League.

Future Lioness Development Centres

The first block of the Future Lioness Development Centres will culminate in October. We will invite a local grassroots team to play against our participants to allow our players to represent Blackpool FC Community Trust and practice what they have learned over the last six weeks.
