Pan Ability and Mental Health Football
Free football sessions that take place every week at locations across Blackpool which uses, football to support positive mental health through physical activity and creating stronger peer-support networks.
Walking Cricket
Alongside Active Blackpool, we deliver weekly Walking Cricket sessions, funded and supported by the Lancashire Cricket Foundation. These sessions are specifically designed for people aged 50 and over who want to stay active, enjoy the game, and meet new people in a friendly, social environment.
Get Vocal
Get Vocal is a Blackpool Council-funded project, building on the ‘Get Vocal’ campaign, which has featured on Blackpool FC’s away shirt as the main sponsor in previous seasons.
Walk & Talk
We hold walks around Stanley Park each week to allow local people to come together for a moderate walk and a chat. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and enjoy some light exercise.

Active Minds will address the growing demand for mental well-being outlets and support. There is often a stigma associated with mental health, so Active Minds intends to combat that and promote positive well-being through the power of sport.
