As summer gets into full swing, July marks one of the busiest months in our calendar at Blackpool FC Community Trust. With the academic year wrapping up and the school holidays ahead, we’re delivering an exciting mix of sport, education, health and community programmes across Blackpool. From food support to fitness sessions, football camps to our Enterprise Challenge, there’s something for everyone to get involved in. Read on to find out how you and your family can take part.

Our Community Club is taking place from 1:30pm to 3pm. This month, we have Blackpool & Fylde College, Natwest, NHS, Empowerment, Blackpool Coastal Housing and Health Watch joining us.
Family Clubs are back! Join us at the North Stand Community Hub every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30pm–5pm.
Join us for physical activity sessions, Homework Club and arts and craft, along with a warm meal.£1 donation per family.
Our Community Cohesion project invites women from all backgrounds to come together and make a positive impact in their neighbourhoods. Look out for dates when you can join us on our community walks and social sessions. For more details, email: info@bfcct.co.uk.
Engage4Change
If you’re between 17-25 years old, then you can join us on a Tuesday 1:30pm – 3pm in our North Stand Community Hub to talk about positive activities in the local area that you can get involved in.

MAN v FAT Football is recruiting new players. Open to men with a BMI of 27.5 or above, the programme combines football and weight loss. Over 90% of participants see positive results, and you can join for just £35 a month.
Our Premier League Kicks programme will be running free drop-in sessions for young people aged 8–18 across Blackpool this summer.

We’re excited to host the Beaverbrooks Enterprise Challenge at Bloomfield Road, where Year 8 pupils from across Blackpool will present business ideas to local CEOs. We wish all participants the best and will share the results in due course.
As the school year ends, so does our 1:1 Mentoring Programme, which supports young people in achieving better outcomes. Thank you to the dedicated staff and brilliant participants who made such great progress this year.
The Premier League Primary Stars Jimmy Armfield Tournament returns on 7th July.
In July, local grassroots girls’ teams will play friendly fixtures against our Development Centre participants.
Our FA Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre celebration event will take place on 11th July.
Year 10 Blackpool FC School students will visit Lancaster Castle and Lancaster Priory as part of their English and Art curriculum. This visit will support their preparation for an end-of-year exhibition on 18th July, where parents, staff, and the BFCCT Senior Leadership Team will be invited to view their work.

Our school holiday Sports Camps are ideal for children aged 5–14 to enjoy sport, stay active, and have fun with friends. Activities include football, dodgeball, cricket, dance, and more.

STARS Disability Provision
For children and young people with disabilities, our STARS programme offers inclusive activities in the Education and Community Centre @ Blackpool FC (excluding bank holidays), from 11am–3pm:
Holiday Club: ages 7–18
Youth Group: ages 15–25 (for those in education)
Our experienced staff ensure all sessions are safe, fun and inclusive. Concessions available and LCC Short Breaks are accepted.
