What's on in September 2025?

This September, Blackpool FC Community Trust is running a full programme of activities and support across the town. From cost of living initiatives and employability drop-ins, to football sessions, fitness classes, and community groups, there’s something for everyone to get involved in. Take a look at what’s on this month and find the sessions that suit you.

Cost of Living Support

The Big Food Truck visits the stadium as normal every Tuesday from 2pm to 3pm, with our Community Club taking place from 1:30pm to 3pm for those attending to enjoy a hot drink and access local services before collecting food parcels.

Our Family Clubs are set to return on Tuesday 9th September. You can join us at the North Stand Community Hub every Tuesday and Wednesday. Sessions take place 3:30pm-5pm.

Our Community Cohesion group will be meeting in the North Stand Community Hub on Friday Mornings from 10:30am to 11:30am to discuss what’s happening in the local area and start making efforts towards our social action project of cleaning up and refreshing Revoe Park. On Wednesdays from 10th September 1:30pm – 2:30pm at Starbucks in Bloomfield, we will be hosting a Crochet Club.  Turn up, and Sandy from Blackpool Coastal Housing will be showing us the basics! For more information, please email: info@bfcct.co.uk

Engage4Change

In partnership with Blackpool Coastal Housing and Empowerment, we are hosting a drop-in at the North Stand Community Hub from Tuesday 9th 2:15pm – 3pm where you can get support on CV writing, setting up an email, discussing employability, education and positive activity opportunities.

Move More

Move More is still looking for people living within Bloomfield, Tyldesley, Victoria and Park ward who are interested in developing a community group to support their local community needs, get in touch: movemore@bfcct.co.uk

 

Get FIT Keep Fit

This month we have launched our new Get Fit Keep Fit Facebook Page, here you can see all the latest updates to the timetable, session tasters and any upcoming events! Take a look here.

The next 10 week cohort of Get FIT begins on 15th September, there’s still limited spaces available! For more information or to secure your place please email fitfans@bfcct.co.uk

Our Keep FIT timetable of fitness classes for £20 a month rolling membership or £3 per session continues! Classes include Circuits, BoxFIT, ClubFIT, Pilates and Strength & Stretch. We would love to see new and old faces at the sessions.

The timetable will be changing weekly, so make sure you check the app or Facebook page to keep up to date with class times and venues.

Man v Fat

Man V Fat is looking for new participants to join their sessions. MAN v FAT Football is for men with a BMI of 27.5 or over. If you’re looking to get in shape, meet new friends and improve your wellbeing, we can help. Over 90% of our players lose weight and get fitter, and you can join them from just £35 a month.

 

Premier League Kicks

Our Premier League Kicks team deliver free evening activities across Blackpool for children aged 8-18, the full timetable can be viewed here.

From September 1st to September 30th, we’re offering FREE drop-in positive diversionary activities for young people across Blackpool at the following venues, days & times:

  • Mondays at South Shore Academy, (FY4 2AR) – 5pm-6pm
  • Mondays at Mereside Primary Academy (FY4 4RR) – 5.30pm – 6.30pm
  • Tuesdays at Aspire Sports Hub, (FY3 7JH) – 5pm-7pm
  • Wednesday at Claremont Park, (FY1 2QH) – 5pm-6pm
  • Wednesday at Aspire Sports Hub, (FY3 7JH) – 5pm-7pm
  • Wednesday at Aspire Sports Hub, (FY3 7JH) – 5pm-7pm (Girls Only)
  • Thursdays at Montgomery Academy, (FY2 0AZ) – 5pm-6pm
  • Thursdays at Montgomery Academy, (FY2 0AZ) – 5pm-6pm (Girls only)
  • Fridays at Stanley Park 3G ( FY3 9HT) – 4pm – 6pm
  • Fridays at Revoe Park (FY1 5JW) – 5pm – 7pm

 

Armed Forces

Our Armed Forces provision will run as normal this month. With NAAFI Break on Wednesdays from 10:30am-12pm, Walk & Talk taking place on Thursdays from 1:30pm-3:30pm Forces football running from 6pm-8:30pm on a Friday evening.

Gardening Club will take place on Thursdays at the Fylde Arboretum from 10am-12pm.

Blackpool FC Sports College

We welcome new students this month, along with those continuing their studies with us. Induction week begins on the 1st September, students will enagge in ream building activities, create social groups, be introduced to our enrichment pathways and take part in an in house football match.

Female Football

Our FA Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre has been granted another three year licence from 2025-2028. We will start the new season on Friday, 26th September. Prior to this, the ETC players will have an Induction Night at Bloomfield Road in the Matthews Hospitality Suite.

Future Lioness Development Centres will resume on Monday 8thSeptember, for girls aged Under 8-14 who play for any team, and would like structured coaching from our UEFA-qualified coaches. We will cover a range of football techniques, including dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, attacking and defending.

The Elite Girls’ Coaching Pathway is a high-ability, invite-only session that mirrors the FA Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre and runs for 30 weeks of the season. Sessions are for girls aged Under 9-16 who have been identified by our Talent ID team, working alongside our UEFA-qualified coaches. We cover a range of technical and tactical topics over the season and aim to arrange fixtures against other high-ability teams.

Following the success of the England Lionesses retaining the Euro Championship title, we are resuming our primary school and high school delivery, aiming to engage young females using the Blackpool FC brand through weekly sessions in PE lessons, lunch clubs, and after-school clubs.
