Volunteers’ Week: Celebrating the People Who Make a Difference

Last week, Blackpool FC Community Trust proudly joined organisations across the country in celebrating Volunteers’ Week, recognising the remarkable individuals who generously give their time, skills and energy to support our work.

Volunteers play a vital role across all areas of our provision. Whether assisting with activities, supporting events or helping with day-to-day operations, their dedication helps us deliver high-quality services and create positive experiences for the people we work with.

Throughout the week, we took the opportunity to thank the many volunteers whose contributions make a real difference to our organisation and local communities.

One such volunteer is Darren, who regularly supports our Get FIT Keep FIT classes, encouraging participation and helping sessions run smoothly. He is also a valued member of the team behind the Big Food Truck visit at the stadium, where his enthusiasm and commitment help ensure the project continues to benefit local people.

Darren’s contribution is a fantastic example of the impact volunteers have across Blackpool FC Community Trust. His support, alongside that of our many other volunteers, helps us create welcoming, inclusive environments and reach more people across the community.

Volunteers bring passion, experience and a strong sense of community to everything they do. Their generosity enables us to achieve more and strengthen the services we provide.

We are incredibly grateful to every volunteer who chooses to support us.

If you would like to get involved, opportunities are available across a range of our projects. Find out more at bfcct.co.uk/volunteer-with-us.
