What programmes do we offer to people living with disabilities?
Friday Night Club (Ages 7-18)
This session is designed for children and young people living with a disability. These sessions are FREE and indoors, although you will need to confirm your child’s attendance beforehand. There are many activities to choose from at Friday Night Disability Youth Club, including multi-skill activities, a recreational area, a games room with (PlayStations, Nintendo’s and table football), additional sports and much more.
These sessions run every Friday night, from 5 pm to 7 pm in the Education and Community Centre at Bloomfield Road.
The criteria for a child/young person to attend are:
- Lives with a disability.
- Are between the ages of 7-18 years old.
- Does not require 1-1 assistance for one, or all, of the following: toileting, behaviour (context-dependent), or the administering of medication.

Stars Camp
With support from Lancashire County Council and Blackpool Council, we run our fun-filled Stars Camp and Youth Group during the school holidays, specifically for children and young people living with disabilities. Based at the iconic Bloomfield Road, home of Blackpool FC, our camp provides a safe, supportive environment packed with a variety of exciting activities.
Stars Camp runs during school holidays from 11am to 3pm, with the Stars Holiday Club welcoming ages 7–18 and the Stars Youth Group for young adults aged 15–25 in education. A free minibus service is available for those in Fylde and Wyre.
Participants can enjoy a wide range of activities, including weekly DJ Eddie parties, discos, arts and crafts, dance and gymnastics, Lego building, sports and multi-skill activities, a games room, stadium tours, and the chance to meet Bloomfield Bear—plus much more.
Our highly qualified staff work closely with young people and collaborate with Blackpool and Lancashire Parent Carer Forums to ensure all activities are engaging and suitable. We’re committed to creating an inclusive environment where every young person feels valued and supported. Additional support is available through concessions such as the Blackpool Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) and Lancashire County Council Short Breaks hours.

Unified Football Adult PAN-Ability (Ages 16+)
Delivered by qualified Blackpool FC Community Trust coaching staff who specialise in disability football, Unified Football brings together people with intellectual, physical, hearing, or mental health conditions. Sessions are designed for beginners or those new to football, providing a welcoming and supportive environment.
Sessions take place every Tuesday from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at Aspire Sports Hub, Blackpool, Garstang Road, FY3 7JH. Open to participants aged 16 and over, the cost is £4 per session.
