South Shore Academy and Unity Academy have been amongst the first schools to pilot the new programme which uses Blackpool Football Club as template to give young people an insight into business in the sports industry. The programme is made up of ten core subjects which include business communications, products, services, advertisement, publicity, customer relations and succeeding in the business industry. Alongside the business aspects of the programme, a key Enterprise Academy initiative is to improve young people’s personal skills which include, teamwork, communication, problem-solving and creativity.
