Over 100 Young Seasiders attend our first Tiny Tangerines On The Pitch Event at Bloomfield Road

Blackpool Football Club Community Trust proudly hosted a highly successful Tiny Tangerines On The Pitch event, bringing together over 100 young children from across its Armfield, Unity and Aspire sites, alongside partner nurseries from across Blackpool.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity for some of the Trust’s youngest participants to experience the excitement of playing on the pitch, creating lasting memories for children and their families. Designed to promote early engagement in physical activity, the day showcased the impact of the Tiny Tangerines programme in supporting children’s development through fun, inclusive football sessions.

Participants took part in a variety of activities focused on fundamental movement skills, coordination and small-sided mini games.

Sports Development Manager, Oli Clarke, said,

“It was fantastic to see so many young children come together and enjoy such a special experience. Events like this are a brilliant way to celebrate the work happening across our Tiny Tangerines sessions and with our partner nurseries. The smiles on the children’s faces said it all – it was a really memorable day for everyone involved.”

The Trust would like to thank all staff, volunteers and partner nurseries for their support in making the event such a success.
