The game involves specially-designed attachments for wheelchairs so that the youngsters who use them can play football in a fun, safe and enjoyable environment.  The attachments allow participants to control the giant footballs around the pitch, intercept the ball and score goals.

Rick Bryan, Inclusion Officer said: “It has been a terrific addition to our inclusion programme and we are excited to develop the scheme across other schools in the area. It has provided a new and exciting version of the game, which has been extremely popular”.

Graham, teacher at Highfurlong said:  “The new scheme is thriving in the school and has provided a fantastic opportunity for our pupils. It has improved their self-esteem and confidence as well as engaging them in physical activity”.
