What's on in June 2025?

June at Blackpool FC Community Trust brings a packed schedule of support, activity, and opportunity across the town. From tackling the cost of living with The Big Food Truck, to strengthening community connections through our Armed Forces programmes, Active Minds sessions, and Get FIT fitness classes, there’s something for everyone. We’re also highlighting the importance of volunteering and job opportunities, launching exciting youth engagement events, and supporting students in their fundraising efforts. Read on to see how you can get involved this month.

 

Cost of Living

The Big Food Truck will visit the North Stand Community Hub at Bloomfield Road Stadium every Tuesday from 2pm to 3pm. To place an order, send your NAME to 07908663674.

Armed Forces 

Our Armed Forces provision will continue as normal this month. With NAAFI Break on Wednesdays from 10:30am to 12pm in the Corner Flag at Bloomfield Road Stadium, Walk & Talk on Thursdays at Stanley Park from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and Forces Football at Aspire Sports Hub from 6pm to 8:30pm on a Friday evening.

Our veterans’ Gardening Club takes place on Thursdays at the Fylde Memorial Arboretum and Community Woodland from 10am to 12pm.

We will also deliver our monthly sessions as normal, join us at our Veterans Breakfast Club on Tuesday 6th May from 10am to 11am @ The Grange.

 

Active Minds continues this month, join us at one of the following sessions – 

Monday Men’s Football Session – Stanley Park 4G Astroturf – 7pm to 8pm

Monday Women’s Football Session – Aspire Sports Hub – 6pm to 7pm

Tuesday Men’s Football Session – Aspire Sports Hub – 8pm to 9pm

Tuesday Women’s Football Session – Aspire Sports Hub – 7pm to 8pm

Thursday Men’s Football session – Palatine Leisure Centre – 8pm to 9pm

Thursday Men’s Football session – Aspire Sports Hub – 7pm to 8:30pm

 

Move More is still looking for people living within Bloomfield, Tyldesley, Victoria and Park ward who are interested in developing a community group to support their local community needs, get in touch: movemore@bfcct.co.uk

 

The Get FIT with BFCCT timetable of fitness classes and £20 a month rolling membership are now live! Classes include Circuits, BoxFIT, ClubFIT, Pilates and Strength & Stretch. We would love to see new and old faces at the sessions.

 

Blackpool FC Sports College

On Saturday 7th June we are teaming up with The Backlot cinema on an EA FC 25 competition.

Prize: Be known as the best in Blackpool and get a free private screen for gaming for you and your friends, or a year’s AAA membership at The Backlot.

Students from both our Esports and Sports courses are taking on a charity walk on 12th June. They will be walking from Starr Gate to Norbreck Castle, then to Bloomfield Road Stadium to raise money for Brian House. Along the way, they will be using different sports equipment, and the goal is the keep the equipment moving for the duration of the walk. Students/staff will be wearing fancy dress or Blackpool kit.

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Volunteer Content Creator to join our team at Blackpool FC Community Trust (BFCCT). In this role, you will be responsible for producing engaging, high-quality content for our digital platforms, including social media and other media outlets.

As a key member of our team, you’ll help raise awareness of our mission, engage with our community, and inspire action. You’ll be creating visual content that enhances our visibility, strengthens our reputation, and fosters engagement with our supporters, community, and partners.

You will work closely with our Primary PE, Female Football, and Sports Development Teams, crafting content that showcases the fun and impact of our sessions while promoting the values of BFCCT.
