Blackpool FC Community Trust were delighted to hand Lorraine DeRome and her family a Nike football signed by all of the Blackpool FC first team squad and stadium tour following a competition giveaway.
Life-long Blackpool FC fans, Lorraine and her three children entered a competition which was shared on Blackpool FC Community Trust’s social media channels. They were picked at random after over 350 people entered the competition.
The family collected the signed ball and were then given a stadium tour of Bloomfield Road by Trust’s Chief Executive Officer Ashley Hackett.
Lorraine was absolutely delighted to have won the ball. She said, “The Trust do a fantastic job and when I saw they put a competition out on social media, I knew that my boys would love it, so I’m absolutely delighted that we managed to win it because I saw hundreds of people enter.”
Ashley Hackett congratulated Lorraine and thanked everyone who entered the competition, with more competition giveaways scheduled to go out in the near future. Ashley said, “I’m really happy for Lorraine and her family for winning the signed ball competition. You could see the delight in the children’s faces when I gave them an all access tour of the stadium including changing rooms and trophy cabinet.”
Ash added, “We will be doing regular competition giveaways as it’s a really good way of giving back to the local and wider community, so please keep an eye on our social media channels.”
