A host of Blackpool FC first players visited the BFC Community Trust sports camps during half term.
Jarret Rivers, Charles Dunne, Henry Cameron, Luke Higham, Mark Cullen and Connor Oliver attended the £10 per day activities to answer questions, sign autographs and take photos with all the kids in attendance.
The sports camps are delivered at three locations, Marton Academy, Norbreck Academy and Unity Academy and run during all school holidays, except from Christmas.
First team striker Mark Cullen said of his visit, “It’s been great to come and meet all the kids and see them having such a good time enjoying their sports. I’ve really enjoyed coming along and getting involved today.”
Sports Camp Coordinator for the Trust, Marc Joseph added, “Having the players come along to see the children always fills the camps with excitement. We deliver the camps from 8am until 5pm during school holidays and try to fill the days with as many different activities as possible, so getting the first team to come along and get involved always adds something a bit different and special.”
