Park Community Academy were treated to a stadium tour of Bloomfield Road after completing Blackpool FC Community Trust’s Premier League Enterprise Academy programme.
The Premier League Enterprise programme is delivered in high schools across Blackpool through classroom workshops that are designed to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. The programme uses Blackpool FC Community Trust to give young people an insight into business in the sports industry.
Students from Park Community Academy finished that last part of the Enterprise programme off at the Stadium and were presented with certificates on Wednesday. The students were then treated to a stadium tour of Blackpool FC.
Park School Teaching Assistant, Elliot Ward was delighted with how well the Premier League Enterprise programme went with the students. Elliot said, “The children really enjoyed the Enterprise programme. They got a good insight to how the business world works. I know they really look forward to the Trust coming in and having a stadium tour of Blackpool FC was a fantastic experience.”
The Trust’s Enterprise Co-ordinator Jack Shields said, “The sessions have been a great success. The students have really enjoyed the programme and got a great insight to how business works in the sports industry.”
