Two local primary school pupils will be club mascots for Saturday’s home game against Colchester United.
Maddison, from Gateway Academy, and Thomas, from Hawes Side Academy, were selected from a raffle prize which pupils were entered in, if they achieved 100 per cent school attendance since September.
Being the club mascots at the game will see Maddison and Thomas meet the players, take penalties against Bloomfield Bear on the pitch and walk out with the teams. The pair will then be able to watch the game with their families.
The prizes have been given to the two schools through their partnership work with Blackpool FC Community Trust, who provide support and provision to improve the quality of Physical Education within local primary schools.
We hope Maddison and Thomas enjoy their day as mascots.
