Each year Blackpool FC Community Trust’s FA Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) send out a player and parent feedback survey to gain valuable to continue to improve the programme. Players and parents were asked about various aspects of delivery, strengths and weaknesses of the ETC programme, and their daughter’s experience, they were also able to suggest any areas for improvement.
Most importantly, 100% of players proudly represent Blackpool FC and the FA Girls Emerging Talent Centre.
Over 70% (54) of our ETC players responded to the survey, which gave us enough responses to identify trends and patterns. We are delighted with the feedback gathered and are proud to be having such a positive impact on the local female football landscape.
- 98% of parents feel their daughter has improved during the 30-week programme.
- 93% of parents believe their daughter is now a more confident footballer.
- 96% of players and parents rated their overall experience of the programme as 8 out of 10 or higher.
- 96% of parents rated our communication 8 out of 10 or higher.
- 95% rated the outfield coaching 8 out of 10 or higher.
- 100% of our goalkeepers rated the goalkeeping sessions as 10 out of 10.
When asked ‘What have you enjoyed most about the Blackpool FC Community Trust ETC?’ The responses were:
- Making new friends
- Watching my daughter improve rapidly
- Being proud to wear the badge
- Inspiring their daughter to work hard to achieve their goals
- High level of training
- High amount of fixtures
- Team spirit
- Playing with other quality players
- Gaining confidence and improving skills
