Blackpool FC Community Trust are delighted to announce Blackpool FC captain, Danny Pugh has been named the Trust’s official Futsal Ambassador.
Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small sided football game that is widely played across the world.
Blackpool FC Community Trust deliver a BTEC Level 3 Football Studies course and a BTEC Level 3 in Coaching, Fitness and Development course, at our education facilities – located at Bloomfield Road Stadium. The BTEC Level 3 Football Studies focuses on Futsal as well as developing a career in coaching and refereeing.
Blackpool FC skipper Danny Pugh is an admirer of Futsal and spoke highly about the Futsal delivery by Blackpool FC Community Trust. Danny said, ““Futsal is a fantastic opportunity to improve certain aspects of your football game. It improves your first touch, masters your technique and develops your decision-making skills when in possession. Many great players have credited the role Futsal has played in their careers, and the BTEC courses offered by Blackpool FC Community Trust cover Futsal if you choose to go down that pathway.”
