Community Trust to launch GAMEroom

Blackpool FC Community Trust are delighted to announce we will be setting up a GAMEroom at Bloomfield Road, in partnership with GAME.

The GAMEroom will launch on the 26th November, when Blackpool FC take on Newport County at Bloomfield Road.

Every home match-day at Bloomfield Road, we will be inviting young children and young adults to come and get involved in our community competitions. We will have a wide range of community competitions for those who attend, including FIFA 17 tournaments on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

We will also have special appearances from Blackpool FC players to take part in FIFA 17 tournaments and other community tournaments.

Communications Officer for Blackpool FC Community Trust, Manvir Rai hopes people will attend the official launch and learn more about the fantastic programmes the Community Trust offer. Manvir said, “I’m delighted we have set up this programme for young adults and young children. It gives them the chance to meet new friends whilst playing new games on the latest consoles. It also gives people the chance to learn more about what we do.”

GAME Store Manager for Blackpool, Will van Duyvenvoorde is delighted with the partnership with Blackpool FC Community Trust. Will said, “I am delighted to announce our new partnership between GAME, Blackpool FC & BFC Community Trust. The community is at the heart of everything we do at GAME, and to forge a new partnership with Blackpool FC Community Trust in order build and grow both communities, is something we are really excited about. This gives us a chance to connect with our community away from the store, to build new relationships for both Game and Blackpool FC Community Trust, and of course to support and promote our local football team, Blackpool F.C.
