NCS (1st November) – Our NCS programme is underway yet again with several young people going down to Wales to spend a week there for their residential. NCS builds the confidence, social skills and aspirations of all the participants who take part ensuring they have the skills needed for those important next steps in life.
Tiny Tangerines Returns (4th November) – Our Tiny Tangerines sessions return after taking a break over Half-Term. They run weekly, every Tuesday at Armfield Academy and every Friday at Unity Academy. Tiny Tangerines are mini football sessions in place to help increase confidence, coordination and fundamental skills whilst allowing them to engage with others their age through football. Get Vocal (Every Monday) – Get Vocal is a Men’s social group which aims to bring men closer together to create a safe space. The provision has been developed in partnership with Blackpool FC and Blackpool Council. This group runs every Monday in the North Stand Community Hub in Bloomfield Road from 6 pm – 8 pm and is run by Brett and Dan who work on our Community Cohesion Team. Awards (7th November) – Members of staff will be taking a trip to Manchester to attend the Northwest Football Awards 2022. As a Community Trust, we have been nominated for the Community Club of the Season (all other leagues) Award.
Blackpool FC Veterans vs Fleetwood Town Veterans Charity Football Match (11th November) – Our veterans’ football team will be playing in a friendly against Fleetwood Community Trust veterans’ team at Fleetwood Rugby Club. There will be a minute’s silence before kick-off at 7:00 pm. A Bugler will be playing the last post and the winning team gets to keep the newly founded remembrance cup for the years duration. Afterwards, there will be refreshments in the clubhouse as a social evening for all veterans and their families. If you are a veteran, come along and support us!
Stadium Tour (17th November) – Students from Highfurlong school will be visiting Bloomfield Road for a stadium tour. This is another great opportunity for the young people of Blackpool to visit the Blackpool Stadium, looking at all the history of the club.
BBC Children in Need (18th November) – Following on from the stadium tour, we will be supporting and making people aware of BBC Children in Need. Children in Need raises money for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK with the end goal being to make sure that every child has a safe, happy and secure childhood. Keep an eye on our social media pages and our website for anything Children in Need related.

Food Bank – DID YOU KNOW… In partnership with Utilita, we are delivering our Food Bank service before kick-off at every home game. The drop-off places will be at the Education and Community Centre in the North Stand of Bloomfield Road and The Armfield Club an hour before kick-off.
