Blackpool FC Community Trust held their latest BTEC Education keep warm activity last week with a trip to Tee Time FootGolf Centre.
In glorious sunshine the students looking to enrol on our courses in September enjoyed a chance to get to know each other whilst being challenged with their long and short range passing techniques.
Joshua Mathias-Dovey was the winner for the students, scoring five shots under par but wasn’t able to beat staff member Alex Taylor, our UEFA A Licensed Football Development Officer.
Before GCSE results day the students have one more trials session at Unity Academy on Wednesday 21st August at 10.30am. If you are 16-18 years old and interested in our BTEC Education programmes please contact the Community Trust on (01253) 348691 or visit our website where you can fill in an application form online.
As part of our post-16 education provision, students get the opportunity to study a full time college education programme in the unique setting of a professional football club.
It doesn’t matter what qualifications you have – we have a course for you.
Courses we offer:
BTEC Level 1 (1 year course) – Sport and Active Leisure
BTEC Level 2 (1 year course) – Leadership through Sport
BTEC level 3 (2 year course) – Development, Coaching and Fitness
Don’t just stop there! You now have the opportunity to extend your education by proceeding to a Foundation Degree. Increase your employability opportunities and develop your skills further.
Congratulations to everyone who received their results yesterday and good luck to everyone receiving their results next Thursday.
It’s not too late to enrol onto one of our sports courses. Just come along to Blackpool FC Community Trust Offices on GCSE Results Day with your certificates and a form of photo ID.
