Blackpool FC Sports College Students Celebrate Their Achievements

Over the last few weeks we have been celebrating the achievements of  Blackpool FC Sports College Students.

Early this month we held the Blackpool FC Sports College end-of-year celebration.  The Sports College looked back at the year and highlighted some of the best moments and awarded students for their achievements.

Congratualtions to:

Level 2 student of the year – Leo Fish

Level 3 student of the year – Jack Howard

Level 3 student of the year – Oren Williams

Level 3, year 2 student of the year – Tom Murray

Overall student of the year – Charlie Briggs

A Team Players Player – Tom Murray

A Team Managers Player – Leo Saxon

B Team Players Player – Joe Barnes

B Team Managers Player – Robert Mellor

C Team Players Player – Robert Lane

C Team Managers Player – Jack Morgan

Students also received certificates for work experience recognition, most improved, leavers award and course commitment.

Well done to all students who put in 100% effort throughout the college year.

 

This week Blackpool FC Sports College students attended a residential to celebrate their achievements this academic year.

They engaged in various fun but challenging activities which enhanced confidence and teamwork skills.
BTEC tutor Josh Peat said:
‘I am proud of all the student who attended the trip. All students pushed themselves and it was good to see learners in a more relaxed environment, having fun!’
BTEC student Zach Terras said:
 ‘I loved the gorge walk and jumping into the lake. I have made memories with friends which we will talk about for some time.’

As the academic year comes to an end, Blackpool FC Sports college staff want to congratulate all students on their hard work this academic year and can’t wait to see new and returning students in September

Blackpool FC Sports College consists of a full-time education offer, including BTEC EducationFoundation Degree and Top Up Degree.

For those looking to take the steps back into education or employment, we have Traineeship programmes for 16-30 year olds.
