Blackpool FC Community Trust and Durose Studios team up in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Thanks to support from Cancer Alliance and Spring North, Blackpool FC Community Trust and Durose Studios will hold a creative clay workshop together to encourage discussions about Breast Cancer Awareness and the screening process.
On Tuesday 20th May 3:30pm – 5pm you can join us in the North Stand Community Hub at Blackpool FC Stadium to get creative and create ‘Boobie Pots’ whilst we discuss signs and symptoms of Breast Cancer and also the importance of attending any screening invitations.
The workshop is open to any ladies 18+.
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK.  It mainly affects women, but men can get it too. You’ll automatically receive your first invite for Breast Cancer Screening between 50 and 53. Then you’ll be invited every three years until you turn 71.  Following recent research, it has been suggested that eligible women in Blackpool are less likely to be screened for Breast Cancer than in the North West as a whole. Workshops like this are so important to raise awareness of signs and symptoms, and encourage ladies to attend their screening when invited, providing an opportunity to discuss any reservations and explore any questions.
Limited places are available. To book a place, please email: info@bfcct.co.uk or call 01253 348 691
