Do you know this week 11th – 17th March is National Nutrition and Hydration Week 2019?
Nutrition and Hydration Week is an annual event with a shared objective to highlight, promote and celebrate improvements in the provision of nutrition and hydration locally, nationally and globally.
We provide a variety of sessions that help to encourage and maintain healthy lifestyles from football for all ages, to weight management courses such as Football Fans in Training.
To celebrate ‘National Nutrition & Hydration Week’ our Fit2Go team will be visiting every Year 4 primary school class in Blackpool to promote the Blackpool Public Health Initiative ‘Healthy Packed Lunches’. Keep an eye out for your guide.
Fit2Go specifically aims to encourage children to live a healthy lifestyle, take part in regular physical activity and to join in with local sports clubs and community programmes which will ultimately improve their overall health and wellbeing. Fit2Go is currently being delivered to Year 4 pupils in every primary school in Blackpool.
