NEW SESSIONS

Blackpool FC Community Trust are excited to announce another THREE sessions being added to the opportunities they deliver.

Re- play is a gentle exercise class for over 50’s to keep them active.  Activities include: Table Tennis, Boccia, chair based exercises, Table Football, Badminton, fun table top games and more.  First session is FREE with following sessions just £1. They run 2pm – 3:30pm on Wednesday’s in the Education and Community Centre at Bloomfield Rd Stadium.

We are also offering an Ex Armed Forces Breakfast Morning at The Grange where any veterans are welcome to come along for a FREE hot barm with tea or coffee on presentation of their Veterans Card or Regiment Number.  This social group will take place 9am – 10:15am on Wednesday mornings.

Finally an additional session of Walking Football has been added, 11am – 12pm at Lytham YMCA on Friday.  £4 a session (first session FREE). Walking football was designed to help older players rekindle their love for football, keeping them active and increasing physical activity in the process.

Dave, Inclusion Officer, said: “As part of our community work we want to ensure that we reach as many people as possible.  No matter their age or ability.  We already run ‘Sporting Memories’ and Extra Time as well as Walking Football sessions for over 50’s, so these new sessions will make great additions.

The sessions have started off really well.  The feedback from the people who have attended so far has been great.  I’m looking forward to welcoming more people in the future.
