On Friday 6th May, Blackpool FC Community Trust welcomed over 120 pupils from Key Stage 1, from 11 different primary schools in Blackpool, to Bloomfield Road.
It was a great opportunity for Key Stage 1 pupils to take part in an inter-school festival as these are few and far between for this age group. A one off event to allow the young people a fantastic opportunity to be looked at by Blackpool F.C. Academy coaches, and a rare chance to take part in physical activity on the pitch.
“Our Key Stage 1 festival has been a huge success due to the schools allowing the pupils to take part during school hours. Every single one of the pupils enjoyed themselves, as did the school staff, there were lots of smiles around the event. The opportunity to come to the football ground and play on the pitch is really exciting for these young people.”
