JOB OPPORTUNITY: Sports Development Officer

Blackpool FC Community Trust is the official charity of Blackpool FC, based at Bloomfield Road Stadium. Working with residents as young as 2 years old up to adults in the later stages of life, BFCCT provide a diverse range of programmes to increase social inclusion opportunities; improve physical fitness, health, and education; and lessen involvement in anti-social behaviour.

In recent years the Trust has grown significantly and has become an established organisation, providing something for everybody, that every Blackpool FC fan and resident should be involved in and very proud of.

We are looking for someone to join the Community Trust as part of our Sports Development team. The Sports Development Officer will have a primary focus on planning and delivering on early years football, nursery sessions and football development sessions. The successful candidate will also work delivering on Premier League Primary Stars and wider Trust programmes including Sports Camps, Football Camps and the Holiday Activity and Food Programme.

There are also additional elements of the Sports Development project that the individual will deliver or co-ordinate. These could include, but are not limited to, competitions, festivals, and match day events.

The post holder will have a broad range of experience in delivering high quality football coaching provision, whilst also having a good knowledge of health-related activity, to be used to inspire the people of Blackpool to live a healthy lifestyle.
