Early Years
Blackpool FC Community Trust works very closely with local Early Years (EY) providers to offer a range of opportunities to young children to improve their health, social skills, and physical literacy. Our aim is to support EY settings to provide children with their recommended three hours of physical activity per day. Our staff are highly motivated and understand the importance of working within the EYFS framework through experience of delivering physical activities in EY settings.
We have outlined two options that your schools, staff, board and SLT could consider to cover all areas of early years learning and development.
Early Years Physical Activity
These sessions will be based around a minimum six-week block to help fit within a school term.
Our Early Years Physical Activity offer aims to help prepare children for school PE by engaging them in activities that help support a variety of EYFS targets being met. The Early Years Physical Activity package is focused on increasing the amount, the standard and the variety of physical activity a child receives.

Early Years Football
These sessions will be based around a minimum six-week block to fit within a school term. Our Early Years Football sessions provide an introduction to the beautiful game for all abilities. Our coaches will create a fun learning environment that will promote physical and social development through football activities. We will challenge the children’s imagination as we create a fun, thoughtful and educational session that will incorporate both numeracy and literacy into a football theme.
