Fit2Go is currently being delivered to every primary school in Blackpool. Year 4 pupils are receiving a programme of increased physical activity and health education that can include:

Healthy lifestyle classroom based sessions
Physical activity sessions organised around the school day
Extracurricular sessions after school
Family health workshops
Fit2Go celebration festivals and quizzes at Bloomfield Road
Player appearances and Blackpool FC goody giveaways

An interactive workbook has been produced to follow the six week programme and support the classroom sessions.

Fit2Go is being delivered as part of Altogether Now – a legacy for Blackpool, the multi-partnership programme between the NHS in Blackpool (Clinical Commissioning Group and Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust), Blackpool Football Club and Blackpool Council.
