At Blackpool Football Community Trust, we’re seeking enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team as Casual Assistant Sport Coaches. Roles include those specialised in supporting participants with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), as well as Community Sports Coaches.

Casual Community Support

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervising and/or delivering group activities such as Creative Arts & Crafts, mini sports, chair-based activities and boccia during the day.
• Demonstrating high energy, confidence, and enthusiasm while working with the community.
• Supporting and motivating participants in line with the Trust’s objectives and the session’s activities.
• Collaborating with fellow staff members to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable experience for our participants.
• Hours between 8 am – 10 pm, Monday to Friday, year-round, with options for varied schedules.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience working in youth work or family support.
• Passion and motivation for working with the community and the ability to demonstrate high levels of energy, confidence, and fun.
• Team player mindset with a willingness to exceed expectations as required.
• DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the check.
• First aid trained

Casual Sport Coach

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervising and/or coaching a group in activities such as Multi-Sports or Creative Arts & Crafts during the school holidays.
• Demonstrating high-energy, confidence, and enthusiasm while working with young people.
• Supporting and motivating participants in line with the Trust’s objectives and the camp’s activities.
• Collaborating with fellow staff members to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable camp experience.
• Hours between 8 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday, during school holidays, with options for varied schedules.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience working with young people.
• Passion and motivation for working with young people and the ability to demonstrate high levels of energy, confidence, and fun.
• Team player mindset with a willingness to exceed expectations as required.
• DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the check.

Casual PL Kicks Sports Coach

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervising a group in activities such as Football, Multi-Sports or Creative Arts & Crafts during evenings, weekends and school holidays where required.
• Demonstrating high-energy, confidence, and enthusiasm while working with young people ages 8-18 years old.
• Supporting and motivating participants in line with the Trust’s PL Kicks objectives.
• Collaborating with fellow staff members to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable experience.
• Hours between 4pm-8pm, Monday to Friday, during school holidays, with options for varied schedules.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience working with young people.
• Passion and motivation for working with young people and the ability to demonstrate high levels of energy, confidence, and fun.
• Managing behaviour of older children.
• Team player mindset with a willingness to exceed expectations as required.
• DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the check.
• Driving licence desirable as sessions take place across a variety of venues in Blackpool.

Casual Sports Coach (SEND)

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervising and/or coaching a group in activities such as Multi-Sports or Creative Arts & Crafts during the school holidays.
• Demonstrating high-energy, confidence, and enthusiasm while working with young people.
• Supporting and motivating participants in line with the Trust’s objectives and the SEND camp’s activities.
• Collaborating with fellow staff members to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable camp experience.
• Hours between 8 am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, during school holidays, with options for varied schedules.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience working with young people living with disabilities.
• Passion and motivation for working with young people and the ability to demonstrate high levels of energy, confidence, and fun.
• Team player mindset with a willingness to exceed expectations as required.
• DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the check.
