Charity Requests

Blackpool FC supports the EFL’s official charity and holds an annual poppy shirt auction with the proceeds directly benefitting The Royal British Legion.

The Club is fully committed to supporting local causes with each charitable request for signed merchandise judged on its merits. The Club does not make monetary donations and due to the high number of requests cannot always satisfy them all.

Signed Ball Requests

We have a limited number of signed balls available each season.

Successful applications will receive one signed Blackpool FC football along with a certificate of authenticity.

All requests must be made via Blackpool FC Community Trust using the official form below.

Requests must be submitted at least four weeks before the date required and must include:

Main contact name
Contact mobile number
Date required
Charity number or official letterhead, where applicable

Additional information may be requested to confirm the legitimacy of the application.

If criteria are met, one request will be granted per organisation, partner school* or Tangerine Teammates** club per season.

The request window runs from 1st October to 31st March each season. Requests outside of this period will not be considered.

Requests must be made on behalf of a recognised charity, school or local club based within Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre with an FY postcode. Requests made on behalf of national charities without a local presence will not be prioritised. Requests to fundraise for specific charities already working directly with the Club or Trust will be declined.

To help manage demand, a small number of signed balls are also allocated directly to selected charities that receive a high volume of individual fundraising requests (for example sponsored events such as marathons or community challenges). These charities will distribute items directly to supporters at their discretion. This helps ensure fair access while reducing duplicate individual requests to the Club.

Successful applicants will be contacted directly. Signed balls must be collected from the Community Trust Main Office at the Stadium within two weeks of confirmation, otherwise they may be reallocated.

Bucket Collection Requests

Bucket collection opportunities are available on a limited basis across selected first-team home fixtures.

All applications must be submitted via the official form at least six weeks before the requested fixture date.

Each application must include:

Organisation name
Main contact name and mobile number
Charity number, where applicable
Details of how the funds raised will be used
Preferred fixture dates

Additional information may be requested, including requests for copies of relevant insurances, as part of standard checks to confirm eligibility and ensure appropriate matchday arrangements.

All collections are subject to approval and must be carried out in line with Club safeguarding, health and safety and matchday operational procedures. Collectors will be required to sign in on arrival and may be asked to provide and display identification.

Where required, relevant permissions and notifications will be made in line with local authority and regulatory guidance.

Priority will be given to organisations that:

Operate within Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre
Demonstrate clear benefit to local people and communities
Align with the values of Blackpool FC and Blackpool FC Community Trust

Only one bucket collection will be approved per organisation per season.

Applications from national charities without a local presence may not be prioritised due to demand from local causes.

Successful applicants will be informed of the allocated fixture and matchday arrangements in advance. All collectors must follow stewarding instructions and venue procedures at all times.

The Club reserves the right to refuse any application, and all decisions are final.
