Students Sign Up For 2017/18 BTEC Course

With Year 11 students discovering their GCSE fate yesterday, students across Blackpool signed up to Blackpool FC Community Trust’s BTEC in Sport courses.

19 students have initially signed up and new BTEC student Jordan Bruton cannot wait to get started. Jordan said, “I’m delighted to have signed up to Blackpool FC Community Trust’s BTEC course. I heard great things and after taking part in pre-season training, I knew this was the place for me. I’m looking forward to learning new things and progressing with Blackpool FC Community Trust.”

Blackpool FC Community Trust offer BTEC Level 2 and 3 in Sports coaching, Fitness and Development and Football Academy, with the Level 3 extended diploma being equivalent to 3 a-levels. As part of our education provision, students get the opportunity to study a full time college education programme in the unique setting of a professional football club.
