Traineeship

Qualifications include, Functional skills Maths and English, L3 First Aid at work, L1 in Employability and L1 in Health and Safety at work.

The Trust currently works with a host of business, including, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, NHS, Blackpool Transport, Toyland who provide valuable work placement opportunities for the young people to gain real life work experience.

I believe our close working relationship will help many more forward to the world into the world over the coming months and years.  It has worked so well with the young people that we have referred to the Traineeship.”

Health & Social Care

Funded by the Princes Trust, an extension of our traditional Traineeship provision, we will deliver a project focused at supporting 18-30 year olds into work in the health and social care setting. Working closely with the Princes Trust, Blackpool Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), NHS, local care homes and local health and social businesses, we will support people currently out of work, to develop new skills and work experience to start a new career journey.

The pre-traineeship programme has received £33,822 from the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fun

We run a pre-traineeship for 16-24 years olds furthest away from employment.  This course aims to develop personal and social skills to improve confidence and self-belief to enable individuals to make their first steps into employment.  This programme is funded through the UK Community Renewal Fund.
