Every Player Counts uses exercises to overcome barriers for people, who may be suffering with a mental health problem. Every Player Counts provides one to one support, team-work exercises and finding the right physical activity for you.
Inclusion Team Leader, Paul Mullin believes Every Player Counts is an excellent programme for participants to become more confident as it boosts social skills. He said,
“Every Player Counts is aimed at participants to improve their social barriers by participating in fun filled football activities. The sessions is open to anyone who feels they need a more inclusive environment which the Every Player Counts programme will provide.”
Dave Maclean, Community Engagement Manager said,
“The programme aims to improve the lives of people with mental health problems by breaking down the barriers to sport and physical activity. Every Player Counts allows for participants to enjoy sport in a friendly, supportive environment which caters for all levels of ability.
