Coming Up in September '23

We have had a busy busy summer engaging with over 700 young people at our Holiday Activities alongside or usual community activities such as NAAFI Break, Walking Football and Extra Time, to name a few. We have also launched – The Get Vocal Podcast – which aims to raise awareness, foster open conversations, and provide valuable resources to support the well-being of men from far and wide who may not be able to attend our face to face sessions.

As we move into September take a look what we have coming up:

Family Hubs

After taking a break for the entirety of August, our Family Hubs will be returning on the 5th of September.

Our Family Hubs take place in the North Stand Community Hub at Blackpool FC stadium every Tuesday and Thursday from 4 pm – 6 pm. We have activities, crafts and board games for the children to enjoy, we open up our state-of-the-art games room for the older children and we also have an area to complete homework and have a chat with family members and friends. The Family Hubs are free and open to anyone as long as adults accompany children.

We offer FREE sandwiches and crisps to every family that attends.

The Big Food Truck (Every Tuesday)

Working in partnership with Blackpool Foodbank, The Big Food Truck arrives at the stadium every Tuesday from 2 pm until 3 pm. Situated in the North Stand Community Hub, anyone can access this service which provides food parcels to help with the cost of living. Single bags are £4 and family bags are £6.50.

If you are interested in purchasing a food parcel, please give us a message on our social media pages or email info@bfcct.co.uk.

Food Donations on Matchday

This season we will continue to support our community by holding food donation points on match days. This will take place at every home game this season with the drop-off point being in the South Stand, close to the Junior Seasiders activity space.

Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
