International Men’s Day Event
Join us on Friday 17th November between 9:30am – 3:30pm
A collective group of young people, organisations, business, youth groups, schools and colleges are holding an International Men’s Day conference at Bloomfield Road Stadium for young men and members of the community.
The event will highlight the amazing work that goes on in Blackpool to support the many issues impacting on men, i.e. gambling, physical health, sexuality, mental health, death by suicide, county lines, criminality and identity, and more. The event will also celebrate men and include some fun activities throughout.
One of those activities will be our Get Vocal Workshop – Blackpool FC Community Trust’s Get Vocal facilitators will be hosting workshops throughout the day to engage with participants and promote conversations around men’s mental health. The workshops will mimic what a Get Vocal session looks like and highlights the importance of men speaking out, getting the support they need and reducing stigma.

Our FA Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) has fixtures lined up for all of our age groups vs Westmorland FA ETC in November. We will also take our Under 13s, Under 14s and Under 15s to play against Man United academy girls at futsal this month.

Festive Fundraiser 2023
Initially launched in 2020, the Club and Trust established the Festive Fundraiser after learning of the startling statistic that over 1000 primary school children across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre would go without a present on Christmas Day.
The Club and Community Trust are fundraising again for this coming Christmas and beyond. As per the initial fundraiser, Simon Sadler’s Segantii Capital Management has also committed to match the final amount raised pound-for-pound.
You can donate to the initiative by visiting the Trust’s Just Giving page here.

Thanks to LionTrust, we can invite participants to watch Blackpool FC home matches. During these matches, we deliver halftime challenges with the support from Football Flick. Keep an eye on our social media pages after every home match to see what goes on!
