Dementia Friendly Sporting Memories session
Thanks to funding from the Masonic Charitable Foundation, we are launching these sessions on 9th February, offering a blend of reminiscence, gentle physical activities through music, and engaging games.

Our dedicated staff, equipped with Dementia Friends training, will ensure a fun and interactive experience, designed for those living with dementia and their caregivers to share moments of joy and connection.

Fridays
3:30pm – 4:30 pm
North Stand Community Hub, Bloomfield Road.

 

Cost of Living Support
A new Family Hub will be open on Fridays 4:30pm -5:30pm at our Aspire Sports Hub.  An opportunity for local families to come along for a free hot meal supplied by At The Grange.  Meals will be given on a first come first served basis.

This is in addition to our Bloomfield Rd. based Family Hubs which will continue to take place for free on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 3:30pm – 5:30pm in the Moretti Lounge at Blackpool FC Stadium. These hubs are the perfect opportunity to socialise, receive free food and take part in a range of activities.  The family hubs are free and open to families.

The Big Food Truck will be visiting our North Stand Community Hub on Tuesday afternoons 2pm – 3pm.  You can preorder a food parcel by sending your NAME to: 07908663674.  Sign up for free and as a member you can get six bags of food for £13, three bags of food for £6.50 or a single bag of food for £4.

Pool Together Hubs
Play table tennis, take part in chair-based exercises and other games, and enjoy a hot drink and some toast.

When: Tuesday and Thursday – 1pm – 3pm

Where: Moretti Lounge, Bloomfield Road Stadium, Seasiders Way, FY1 6JJ

Anyone is welcome to attend.

 

PL Inspires Challenge (5th February)
We provide High School pupils across the town the opportunity to take part in our Premier League-funded ‘Inspires’ programme. The programme aims to support pupils with mental health and resilience, whilst improving other important life skills such as communication and organisation. During the programme pupils are presented with the opportunity to partake in the ‘Premier League Inspires Challenge’. Here, pupils work in small groups to formulate an idea and plan how to tackle the issue presented to them by the Premier League.

Our Holiday Camps will return during the February half term, from Monday 12th February to Friday 16th February.

FA Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre
Our FA Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre have fixtures lined up against Burnley ETC for all of our age groups on the 8th of February. The girls will also be taking part in a strength and conditioning testing session which will see specialised equipment brought in and the girls put through a variety of tests including the yo-yo test, T-test, standing broad jump, vertical jump and sprint testing.

 

Future Lioness Development Centre 
We are excited to provide all three of our Monday night Future Lioness Development Centre session groups a fixture against a local club in what is part of our new bolt-on offer to provide a fixture every 6-8 weeks for the girls who attend these sessions, giving the girls attending the opportunity to represent Blackpool FC Community Trust and to gain more playing time as part of our programme.

 

FA Schools Football Week
From the 5th Feb to the 11th Feb we are taking part in the English school’s FA Schools Football Week. We will be highlighting all the good work we are doing in primary schools and secondary schools this week.

We will continue to deliver and develop our girl’s football in the local primary and secondary schools. We are now delivering clubs in Roseacre Primary, Unity Academy, Montgomery, and St Kentigerns Primary on top of existing delivery in Thames Primary and St Mary’s secondary school.

 

FA Weetabix Wildcats
Designed as an introduction to football for many but also as an extra training session for those girls who already play football.

Join us on Fridays 5pm to 6pm for girls aged 5-8 and 9-11.

Girls of all abilities are more than welcome.

Premier League Kicks
Alongside the usual PL Kicks timetable, on Friday 16th February we will be taking some of our participants to represent Blackpool FC Community Trust a PL Kicks Girls Under 12s tournament at Everton and a PL Kicks Boys Under 17s tournament at Wigan.

We also have our Premier League Kicks HAF provision taking place during half term, Monday 12th to Friday 16th February. For more information please contact kicks@bfcct.co.uk.

 

Matchday Activities
Thanks to LionTrust, we can invite participants to watch Blackpool FC home matches. During these matches, we deliver halftime challenges with the support from Football Flick. Keep an eye on our social media pages after every home match to see what goes on!

Food Donations on Matchday

This season we continue to support our community by holding food donation points on match days. This takes place at every home game with the drop-off point being in the South Stand, close to the Junior Seasiders activity space.

Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
