March is coming to an end and we are entering the month of April. We have a jam-packed month ahead of us. Check out what we have planned below…
Easter Half-Term Camps (3rd April – 14th April) *excluding bank holidays
Our school holiday Sports Camps are the perfect opportunity for children to have fun, make new friends and improve their sports skills. The Community Trust will be delivering a variety of exciting activities, including football, dodgeball, cricket, dance and many more. These camps are designed to provide a fun and challenging environment for children of all skill levels, from ages 5 to 14 years old.
- Sports Camp @ Unity Academy (8 am-5 pm)
- Sports Camp @ Armfield Academy (9 am-5 pm)
If sports camps are not for you, we also have Football Camps that focus on all aspects of the game. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to improve your skills and take your game to the next level.
- Football Camp – ages 5-14 years old
- Girls Football camp – ages 7-14 years old
We also have our Holiday Activities and Food Camp (HAF) for children who receive free school meals.
We also have our Stars Disability Camp for children living with a disability in the local area. This takes place from 11 am – 3 pm in the Education and Community Centre @ Blackpool FC excluding bank holidays. To book, please email info@bfcct.co.uk.
We look forward to seeing you at Easter!

Tiny Tangerines
The 1st April is our final session of Tiny Tangerines mini football as we take a break for the Easter half-term.
These sessions aim to increase your child’s confidence, coordination and fundamental skills whilst giving them the opportunity to engage with others their age through football.
Sessions will resume on the 18th April.
FA Emerging Talent Centre
We have organised fixtures for our u9/10s to play in a festival against Man Utd u10s RTC and ETC teams. For the older age groups, we will be taking our u12-15s to play Man City RTC. In addition to this, all of our teams from u9-16s will be hosted by Eastleigh FC to play against their grassroots team of all ages to ensure that our girls get maximum playing time in addition to their weekly training sessions.
Future Lionesses Development Centre
Our girls Future Lioness Development Centre’s launched in March for a 6-week block, that will run to the end of April. These sessions run for u8-10s, u11-12s and u13-14s, and have proved extremely popular. The youngest sessions have sold out each week, and there is only a small number of spaces left in the oldest age group. We have already engaged with 75 girls in the first two weeks! We aim to offer high-quality coaching and mirror the Emerging Talent Centre curriculum for those girls who want to engage in our weekly structured coaching sessions in addition to any current training commitments.
Female Leadership Academy
We are launching our very own Female Leadership Academy which aims to provide young females with the opportunities to develop as leaders and give them the tools to be able to take forward to succeed in both life and sports. This programme is open to any female aged 14-18 wanting to become a young leader or possibly looking towards a career in football or sport. Sessions will run from 6 pm each Friday evening at Aspire Sports Hubs starting in April.
To express an interest or to confirm a place, please contact brettwhitehead@bfcct.co.uk.
Football Fans and Betting
We are recruiting men to a new eight-week programme for football fans who would like to learn how to change their relationship with betting. The Football Fans and Betting (FFAB) programme will increase your knowledge of the betting industry and the tactics they use and give you new skills and techniques to manage your betting better. We will also run a 90-minute group session each week at Aspire Sports Hub. Each session will provide information and discussion on betting with other men like you. You will also get a change to do some exercise with the group, if you want to.
