BFC Players visit our Summer Sports Camps

BLACKPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB players made an appearance at our Summer Sports Camps.

On Tuesday 6th August 2019, Blackpool FC players Jordan Thompson and Sullay Kaikai visited Hawes Side Academy and Liam Feeney and Ollie Turton visited Unity Academy where our Summer Sports Camps take place.

Jordan Thompson and Sullay Kaikai visited Hawes Side Academy

Sullay Kaikai, explained, Going down to the camp was a good experience for the kids. It is important for the players to come down to these types of sessions as the kids can ask questions and can learn about what it’s like to be a footballer”

In a keep-up challenge and a game of foot-tennis, the kids got to see what the players were made of as they got to take the players on. This was an exciting moment for the kids who took part as they were big fans and had watched Blackpool’s victory on Saturday against Bristol Rovers.

Louisa Windy, parent of camper, had this is share, “Buddy thoroughly enjoyed it today as he does every day. The coaches are amazing and are a credit to the Blackpool sports camps” (Facebook)

Liam Feeney and Ollie Turton visited Unity Academy

Camper, Charlie, 5, who met the players for the first time said, “I really liked seeing the players, I asked lots of questions because we don’t get to meet them all the time! I’ve made lots of new friends and played lots of sports while I’ve been here.”
