World Youth Skills Day 2021

The aim of World Youth Skills Day is to focus attention on technical and vocational skill development in youth, and specifically their ability to access affordable, quality technical and vocational education and training.

This week we celebrate World Youth Skills Day 2021 which is highlighting the resilience Young People have shown throughout the last year.

We understand the importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship.

On a daily basis we provide opportunities for young people to build their skills through; Traineeships, NCS programmes, volunteering opportunities as well as supporting students who attend our Blackpool FC Sports College.

We also support secondary schools with our High School Hubs which include various targeted sessions.

Here are just a few stories from inspiring young people who have taken advantage of the skill building opportunities we have with the Community Trust.
