Blackpool FC Community Trust were triumphant at the Radio Wave Culture, Lifestyle and Business Awards on Friday 7th June, held in the Empress Ballroom at the Winter gardens.
After submitting the application to celebrate our ten year anniversary as a registered charity, we were shortlisted for the long-serving Business of the Year Award 2019.
The evening proved to be a great success, topped by the Trust receiving the most votes from our local community, to come out on top, against some other fantastic local businesses.
Ashley Hackett, Chief Executive, said: “This was a great way for us to celebrate ten years of helping people in Blackpool, as a charity, and we would like to thank everybody that voted for us in our category.
“I’d also like to publicly thank the great team we have, who work so hard, and make an enormous impact on Blackpool residents lives. We know that the future is really exciting for us and we look to making everyone aware of our plans and developments in due course.”
We would once again like to congratulate all of the winners on the night and thank Radio Wave for hosting a fantastic event.
Finally, we have recently been informed that we are a finalist in the BIBAs Third Sector Organisation category. The winners will be announced in September this year following a visit for the final round of judging in July.
