Do you have an active little one? Come along and try something fun?
Tiny Tangerines uses physical activity to engage and develop young children in both nurseries and community settings. Our vision is that this area of work builds the foundations to create a healthy and active lifestyle for your child as they progress throughout primary and secondary school.
We use the power of the football club to engage and inspire our local community and it is our hope that the Tiny Tangerines become the next generation of Blackpool FC fans.
Blackpool FC Community Trust are delighted to be running our Tiny Tangerines community football sessions, on Tuesdays and Thursdays (from 3rd and 5thSeptember 2019) for 4-7 year olds.
The aim of the community football sessions is to increase Tiny Tangerine’s confidence and co-ordination whilst giving them the opportunity to engage with others their age. It is also the first taste of football for some children and is a pathway to move into local grassroots football teams.
The sessions help to develop fundamental skills whilst enjoying a variety of fun and interactive games. This is in addition to mathematics and literacy skills and personal, social and emotional development which are all key areas of learning (AOL) for EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
Want to come along? Your child’s first visit is free of charge and each session after is just £3.00. Parents are required to fill out a consent form, prior to any activity taking place, available at the sessions or to download and print here.
