Following on from the recent World Cup where the universal language of football once again brought people together, working with Lancashire County Council, Blackpool FC Community Trust recently held an event in Blackpool for Syrian refugees living in Lancashire. The day was an informal gathering for people to come together and play football together and despite the weather, the event was a great success and everyone had a great day.
