JOB OPPORTUNITY: Community Cohesion Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Blackpool FC Community Trust as part of the Community Programmes team within the Community Cohesion strand. The role holder will report to the Head of Community Programmes and will line manage staff who deliver on several community cohesion programmes, which will include regular supervisions and appraisals.. The Community Cohesion strand involves a series of programmes that involve working with a wide range of people and will revole around crime reduction and rehabilitation. This will include DIVERT and Tower Above. Additionally, the role holder will also develop and deliver a programme involving Lancaster Farm Prison and the CRC.

The post holder will be responsible and accountable for making sure all KPI’s and targets are met for all programmes within their remit, and that facilities are booked and staff are available. Ensuring high quality monitoring and evaluation methods and techniques are in place is a crucial component of this to meet the needs of the commissioners and target audience. The post holder will also work alongside the Head of Community Programmes to develop funding proposals as well as respond to reports for partner agencies and commissioners.

Working in partnership with the Comms team, the post holder will also assume responsibility for ensuring that the marketing and promotion needs of each programme is sufficiently met.
