Our Traineeship programme is to support young people 16 – 24 years of age, who are not in education, employment or training ( NEET)
Working in partnership with the EFL and Warwickshire College, the traineeship programme was developed to support young people over a 12 week period to give them work experience along with additional qualifications to make them more employable.
Qualifications include, Functional skills Maths and English, L3 First Aid at work, L1 in Employability and L1 in Health and Safety at work.
The Trust currently works with a host of business, including, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, NHS, Blackpool Transport, Toyland who provide valuable work placement opportunities for the young people to gain real life work experience.
The project is delivered by 12 clubs across England and due to our recent successes we are now piloting a 25 plus programme in conjunction with the EFL and Job Centre Plus.

The 25 plus programme will be the same as the 18-24 year old programme but over an 8 week period with the addition of ICT Digital Skills and Business Admin qualifications.
This first pilot with be aimed solely at females, due to the high number of unemployed females in the 25 plus age bracket, and then opened to all 25 plus people who are long term unemployed.
