Blackpool FC Futsal C Team V Sheffield Wednesday Futsal C Team
On the 22nd of April, Blackpool played Sheffield Wednesday C team. A nervous start from Blackpool gave Sheffield a quick lead. Blackpool were able to compose themselves and managed to gain a foothold in the game. They patiently moved the ball, keeping good possession, which lead to a well worked passing move which Nagliati converted from close range.
Blackpool were able to increase their lead from close range again with Conlon pouncing on a loose ball in the box. This left the game at 2-1 at half time.
Blackpool started the second half well and were rewarded with another Nagliati goal. This was the only goal of the half but saw both keepers make good saves and the game ended 3-1 to Blackpool.
Blackpool FC Futsal C Team V Sheffield Wednesday Futsal F team
Last week Blackpool Futsal F team played Sheffield Wednesday F team. A poor start from Blackpool gave Sheffield a quick lead and gave the Blades confidence as they sit in bottom place in the league.
Blackpool were able to compose themselves and converted a chance of their own through Crossfield but this was short lived as Sheffield scored two more goals before the end of the half.
Sheffield were able to increase their lead to 4-1 before Blackpool started a comeback, with a goal from Adams and two from Fleetwood which made the game 5-4.
However, the comeback was short lived as Sheffield were able to step up a gear and scored four more goals. The final score finished 8-4 to Sheffield Wednesday.
